Business owners and individuals register domains and produce a website. Which domain name and how they produce the website is a big long boring story. It's almost the same as watching paint dry! People registered domain names from the early days of the internet speculating they would be valuable in the future. Some people became rich, they were right. Some domain names are better than others. Or at lest they were then. Youtube that's a good name but it's probably only a good name because of the service and brand it has evolved into.
Businesses generally go for a name that is the same as the business. Eg, think cloud studio.
Individuals usually go for their own name and they could be a business too! This works well in the consultancy arena.
Life is like a domain name until your domain has a website you just wonder.
Many businesses register domains invest in a new website whether it is a standard brouchure style website or something with a specific purpose eg quoting system and forget to renew the registration. This causes problems!
Why do people forget to renew domains? For many reasons, perhaps too many reasons to be wasting time writing and 'reading' about! Or would you like a check list of reasons to remind you of the consequences of a domain expiring under your watch.
Over the years we have registered domains for clients and the client (business or individual) decided not to renew. We have renewed the domain on their behalf and have retained ownership. Ownership of domain name can become an issue if the website is deemed to be an asset to the business or individual. So why was it left to expire in the first place?
There are a number of pub domains currently available for pub owners here is a list. The respective pubs and inns probably have a new domain and website. But if you are trying to find contact details for each of the pubs we have provided a link to the pub details on
